The yarn is spun on an Ishikawadai ring-spinning machine — a Japanese-made machine from 1953 by Ishikawa Seisakusho, believed to be the oldest of its kind still in operation. This gentle process preserves the cotton's natural softness, creating an uneven, hand-spun character throughout the fabric.

Knit in Wakayama on vintage small-gauge machinery, the shirt features a tubular round-body construction with no side seams — a hallmark of traditional craftsmanship. The result is a tee made slowly and deliberately, with the lasting vintage appeal that only comes from time-honored production methods.
